GPX Navigator

“This device is very user friendly, easy to operate, and not too intrusive”

The GPX Navigator is a GPS driver information and safety device that helps control speed, aids navigation and improves driving safety, say the manufacturers.

The Navigator has a built-in digital compass that is able to direct the user to over 5,800 UK cities and towns, providing distance to destination, direction and journey times. It also gives the average trip speed and maximum trip speed. The Navigator can also direct you to all the major airports, mainline railway stations and ferry terminals. In addition, up to 500 personal GPS locations and points of interest can be marked.

This device is very user friendly, easy to operate, and not too intrusive, sitting just above the dashboard with a quick-release mechanism on the top of the unit. It is powered from the cigarette lighter socket. Audible sounds and easy-to-read text messages give warnings of accident black-spot locations, allowing you to adjust your speed safely.

Navigator also gives early warning of fixed safety cameras, allowing adjustment of speed and driving style. Its database has over 6,200 camera locations, is updated approximately three times a week, and can be accessed via a PC through the internet.

This device tested well and did exactly what it said on its box.
